Buyer brief checklist

Lip Gloss & Lip Oil Packaging Brief Checklist

Use this checklist before asking ARIS for a lip gloss or lip oil OEM/ODM quote. A clear brief helps the factory discuss MOQ, samples, tube/bottle packaging, applicator choice, logo printing and target-market details faster.

1. Product direction

Tell ARIS whether your main product is lip gloss, lip oil, or a hybrid care-and-shine product. Include the desired shine level, non-sticky feel, tint strength, scent/flavor direction and whether the product is clear, shimmer, colored or care-inspired.

2. Packaging details to prepare

Tube or bottle

Share preferred shape, size, material feeling, clear/frosted/colored body, cap color and whether you need a premium or budget launch style.

Applicator

Confirm doe-foot, brush, roller, squeeze tube or another applicator reference. Photos are useful even when exact sourcing changes later.

Logo and decoration

Prepare brand logo, preferred print color, hot stamping needs, label direction, outer box idea and any barcode or market label needs.

Shade and formula set

List shade count, clear/tinted split, shimmer needs, sample references, texture targets and any ingredient positioning you want to discuss.

3. Quote information ARIS needs

  • Estimated quantity per SKU or per shade.
  • Target market such as US, EU, Middle East, Southeast Asia or online marketplace launch.
  • Target price range if you already have one.
  • Launch timeline and sample approval deadline.
  • Whether you need private label only or formula/packaging customization discussion.

Packaging brief FAQ

What should I send for a private label lip gloss or lip oil quote?

Send product type, estimated quantity per SKU, shade or tint direction, texture preference, tube or bottle style, applicator style, logo and box needs, target market and reference photos if available.

Why does packaging affect MOQ for lip gloss and lip oil?

Tube availability, applicator style, logo printing, label method, carton design and special components may each have different supplier minimums and sampling steps.

Can the same brief cover lip gloss and lip oil?

Yes. A shared brief can cover both categories if it separates texture, shine level, tint strength, applicator, tube or bottle, and claim/document needs by SKU.

What should I do if packaging is not final yet?

Use a starter quote with your target market, quantity, desired product feel, reference photos and preferred price tier. ARIS can then discuss practical packaging directions before full artwork is ready.
