Returns & Quality Policy
Yiwu Aris Cosmetic Co., Ltd. ("ARIS Cosmetics") is committed to delivering high-quality, specification-compliant color cosmetics to buyers worldwide. This policy explains our quality standards and procedures for handling product defects or concerns on OEM/ODM orders.
1. Quality Commitment
All products are manufactured under GMPC and ISO 22716 certified standards. Every batch is tested for formula consistency, shade accuracy, packaging integrity and safety before shipment. We provide a COA (Certificate of Analysis) and MSDS with each order.
2. Pre-Shipment Quality Control
Quality checks are performed at each production stage:
- Raw material inspection — incoming batch testing
- Formula validation — shade matching, texture and stability tests
- Sample approval — buyer-approved standard sample before bulk production
- Pre-bulk QC — first-piece inspection after filling setup
- Final QC — packaging, labeling and batch control checks before dispatch
3. Defect Handling
If a buyer identifies defective products upon receipt, they must notify ARIS within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will review the case and, where the defect is confirmed as a production or quality issue, we will resolve it through one or more of the following:
- Partial or full credit against future orders
- Replacement of defective quantity in a subsequent shipment
- Refund for confirmed defective units (subject to investigation and documentation)
4. Return Process
Returned goods are accepted only under the following conditions:
- Defects are confirmed as a manufacturing or quality issue
- Buyer provides clear photographic and batch-number evidence
- Return is initiated within 14 days of delivery
- Return shipping terms are agreed in writing before dispatch
Buyers must not return products without prior written authorization from ARIS.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Products where defects result from improper storage, handling or shipping by the buyer
- Products that deviate from the buyer-approved standard sample or agreed specifications
- Custom or made-to-order products (where applicable)
- Products damaged due to buyer-side customs inspection, temperature exposure or other force majeure events
6. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for:
- Ensuring product claims, labeling and packaging comply with their target-market regulations
- Providing complete and accurate specifications during the inquiry phase
- Proper storage and handling of received products in accordance with recommended conditions
- Verifying batch numbers and documentation upon receipt
7. Claims Limitation
ARIS Cosmetics' total liability for any defect-related claim shall not exceed the value of the affected order. We are not responsible for consequential losses, lost profits or indirect damages. These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
