Shipping Policy

Yiwu Aris Cosmetic Co., Ltd. ("ARIS Cosmetics") ships private label color cosmetics OEM/ODM orders worldwide. This policy outlines our shipping terms, methods and timelines for sample and bulk orders.

1. Shipping Terms

ARIS quotes EXW (Ex-Works Yiwu) or FOB Yiwu factory prices. These are product prices plus export handling only — they do not include ocean freight, destination duties, taxes or destination insurance. CIF is not offered; ARIS does not quote landed prices.

Under EXW the buyer collects the goods from the Yiwu factory. Under FOB the goods are loaded onto the buyer's nominated vessel at the export port. Ocean freight, destination customs clearance, duties, taxes and insurance are the buyer's responsibility in both cases.

2. Shipping Methods

Shipping method depends on order size and destination:

• Sea freight (FCL / LCL) — the standard method for bulk production orders. Transit time varies by destination: 15-25 days to US West Coast, 20-30 days to Europe, 10-20 days to Middle East and Southeast Asia, and 30-45 days to Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia).
• Express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT) — recommended for sample shipments and very small starter quantities. Transit time: 3-7 business days worldwide.

Air freight note: most finished lip products contain alcohol, oils or solvent-based ingredients and are therefore classified as dangerous goods (DG). Air carriers restrict or prohibit DG cosmetics, so ARIS ships finished lip balm, lipstick, lip gloss and lip oil by sea by default and does not offer air freight on finished lip products. Sample quantities travel by express courier, which applies its own DG screening. If your formula contains no alcohol or solvents, ask us before requesting air freight.

3. Sample Shipping

Samples are shipped via express courier (DHL, FedEx or UPS). Sample shipping costs are borne by the buyer, and the courier fee is deducted from the first bulk order upon confirmation. Sample delivery typically takes 3-7 business days after dispatch.

4. Bulk Production Lead Time

Standard production lead time is 45+ working days after final sample approval, plus packaging confirmation and artwork approval. This does not include shipping time. With standard sea freight the full timeline from brief to goods in your warehouse is typically 75+ days.

5. Packaging for Shipment

All products are packed in export-standard cartons suitable for the chosen shipping method. Inner packaging (retail-ready packaging, display boxes, branded cartons) is customized according to buyer requirements and agreed during the packaging discussion phase.

6. Customs and Duties

ARIS provides all necessary export documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, MSDS and COA. Under both EXW and FOB Yiwu terms, import customs clearance, duties and taxes at the destination are the buyer's responsibility. We recommend that buyers verify import regulations and tariff rates for their target market before ordering.

7. Shipping Insurance

Because ARIS quotes EXW or FOB Yiwu rather than CIF, marine and in-transit insurance is arranged and paid by the buyer. ARIS can recommend experienced freight forwarders and assist with insurance paperwork upon request.

8. Order Tracking

Tracking information is provided for all shipments. Buyers receive shipping documents and tracking numbers once the shipment is dispatched.

9. Delays

ARIS is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs inspections, port congestion, weather events, strikes or other force majeure conditions. We communicate any material schedule changes promptly and work with logistics partners to minimize disruptions.
